LEGAL REQUIREMENTS

To become a member of Club de vins Jessica Harnois (hereafter referred to as “Club JH”), you must be of legal drinking age in your province or territory of residence.

MEMBERSHIP AND RENEWAL

By becoming a member of Club JH, you agree to the following:

1. The annual fee of $997, plus applicable sales taxes, will be charged to your credit card.
2. Your membership is valid for 12 months from the date of your registration and is automatically renewed annually, unless you contact us before your membership anniversary date.

Membership in Club JH includes:

• Access to the course platform and all its content for one year.
• Quality assurance of wines and other suggested products. They are all tasted and approved by sommelier Jessica Harnois.
• Exclusive virtual events for members via Facebook.
• A private Facebook group where you can share your questions and knowledge with other wine enthusiasts.
• New wine and product suggestions every week.

The primary means of communication with Club JH is email. Members are responsible for ensuring that their current email address is up to date and that Club JH is on their approved contact list to receive our emails.

Club JH reviews each membership application and has the power to revoke a membership as it sees fit.

CANCELLATION OF MEMBERSHIP AND REFUND

Once registered, members have 10 days to request a full refund of their subscription. After this period, refunds for the annual subscription are not possible.

Members may cancel their membership for the following year before the automatic annual renewal date by contacting the Club JH team directly at [email protected]. Once the renewal date has passed, cancellation for the year is no longer possible.

PAYMENT METHODS

Payments for memberships are made through Paypal, which also accepts credit cards, via our website.

EVENTS

Exclusive events will be open to members only. Registration and payments, if applicable, will be made online. Cancellations with refund must be made according to the cancellation policy indicated on the invitation.

MEMBER BEHAVIOUR

The Club JH community is composed of wine enthusiasts who want to share this passion. The Club JH offers members several opportunities to exchange with each other, notably via the private Facebook group. The Club JH expects its members to behave reasonably towards the group moderators, members and other stakeholders. Specifically, the Club JH expects its members to:

• be considerate and respectful towards all members of the community;
• be responsible and not drive impaired;
• refrain from displaying behaviors, holding speeches or disseminating content that are degrading, discriminatory or defamatory;
• report any disrespectful behavior by immediately contacting the Club JH team at the address [email protected].

The Club JH will not tolerate any unacceptable behavior. Any person asked to stop unacceptable behavior must comply immediately. If a member exhibits unacceptable behavior, the Club JH may take any measures it deems appropriate, including warning or expelling the offender from the event or private Facebook group without refund or compensation.

PROMOTIONS

Each Club JH promotion is subject to its own terms and conditions, which may vary by province or territory. Promotions may be modified without notice.
